Lavylites Philosophy

Lavylites Philosophy

7 March 2025

Quintessence of Life– this is the motto and slogan of Lavylites. Have you ever wondered what it really means? Quintess is a Latin word derived from the combination of quinta (fifth) and essentia (essence). This word is based on a similar Greek word combination: πέμπτη + οὐσία (pémptē + ousía). In Aristotelian cosmology and scholasticism this concept meant the most perfect element in the structure of the universe, the etheric matter of celestial bodies. In today's colloquial sense, it’s the most important characteristic of a given thing.

Lavylites builds its philosophy and energy not only on technological progress, but also on the wisdom of our ancestors. It’s no coincidence that our slogan and motto make a reference to the essence and number five. If you take Penta, our most popular product packaging in your hands, you’ll notice easily that its shape and crown consist of five sides. Lavylites’ universe repeats the five-fold pattern many times and on many levels. It makes reference to the simplest and most popular five product families (Lavyl, Solvyl, Exyol, Haevyl, Pentyll & Yummy). However, our philosophy presupposes more than a simple division into product lines, there is a connection and mutual interaction between them, which together form a specific value system that creates a comprehensive thought system.

It's not without reason that we speak of Lavylites as of a community or even a family. We are a constantly growing group that shares the same direction and has a similar ideology. All of us are pursuing with collective energy the search for this mythical "fifth element". For some of us who follow the ancient Greeks’ mindset, it means a spiritual element, while for others, an element that, unlike the linear elements (fire, water, air and earth), is characterized by a circular motion through which each element is able to connect with the others and return to the starting point. However, the wise men of the Far East have also drew attention to the fact that these five wonderful elements pervade each other, are difficult to separate from each other, which best reflects the fluid nature of the universe.

Regardless of your standpoint on the topic and the theory you embrace (or, maybe you don’t have one and are still looking for it?), we’d like to take you on a journey into the world of Lavylites’ ideas. We’ll encourage you now to have a look again at the pentagonal- shaped crown of the packaging: begin from its outer edges that form a pentagon corresponding to the five sources of strength from which we can derive and build our values: MIND, CIVILIZATION, MATTER, NATURE and SOUL. The word order here is not accidental, because two neighbouring elements always create the value on which our community is built. These values include:

BEAUTY – it’s actually born in our MINDS, and its canon has been created by numerous human generations, in other words, by the entire CIVILIZATION.

PROTECTION - CIVILIZATION has developed the appropriate means of protection, for which, of course, MATTER is also indispensable.

REBUILDING – is a process inherently related to the transformation of MATTER, and also to NATURE.

BALANCE – it means finding the perfect place for your SOUL surrounded by NATURE.

HAPPINESS - is based on the harmony of the SOUL and MIND.
